A tribute to the "New Look"

En 1947, Chistian Dior revolucionó la moda presentando siluetas con cinturas esculpidas, que llegó a ser simbolizada por el emblemático Bar Suit. Nació el New Look.

A su vez el bolso New Lock también a revolucionado el estilo femenino. Su forma curvada adopta la forma de la silueta perfectamente.

In 1947, Christian Dior revolutionised fashion by presenting silhouettes with sculptured waists, which came to be symbolised by the emblematic Bar Suit. The New Look was born.

In turn the New Lock bag also revolutionised femenine style. Its curved form adopts the shape of the silhouette perfectly.

Ayer asistí en primicia mundial a los desfiles de Otoño/Invierno 2010 de Skunkfunk. Y si, digo en primicia mundial porque era un desfile que congregó a comerciales de distintos países de Europa y EEUU.

Un vez más gracias a la organización por colocarme en primera fila desde donde pude apreciar todos los detalles de las dos magníficas colecciones que se presentaron. Y como no, a dos de los Diseñadores de Skunkfunk que me explicaron detalladamente todos los aspectos de la colección.

Skunkfunk raffle

Yesterdey I attended to the Skunkfunk´s Autumn/Winter 2010 word premiere fashion show.

I say it, because it was a fashion show which brought a trades from different countries of Europe and America.

One more thanks to the organization for putting me in the front row where I could appreciate all the details of the two outstanding collections that were presented. And of course, thanks to two Skunkfunk designers who explained to me in detail all the collection´s aspects.

Y como en esta ocasión no pude sacar fotos, por lo exclusivo del evento, tendréis que esperar a que me faciliten alguna foto del desfile.

Mientras tanto, sorteo estas dos bolsas de Skunkfunk. Tienen el mismo dibujo, pero os muestro el derecho y el revés en los dos colores.

In this time I couldn´t take pictures, so exclusive to the event, you will have to wait until they give me some pictures of the the fashion show.

Meanwhile, I raffle those two Skunkfunk bags. They have the same design but here you can show the right and the back in two diferent colors.

Ayer pasé por la tienda Began de Castro Urdiales, una de las tiendas preferidas de las bloggers del Norte. Y como es prácticamente imposible salir de la tienda sin comprar nada, yo opté por un chaleco de Stella forest que ya os mostraré en próximos outfits.

Yesterday I stopped by Began store in Castro Urdiales, one of the favorites for the North bloggers. It´s virtually imposible to leave the store without buying anything. I decided to buy a Stella forest´s vest that I will show you in coming outfits.

Charla en INEDI

Mañana Jueves voy a dar una charla en INEDI (Instituto Europeo de Diseño de Moda) de Bilbao, donde me formé como Diseñadora y Estilista de Moda durante cuatro años.

Es un encuentro a puerta cerrada donde solo podrán asistir los alumnos de dicho centro, pero de el que os daré todo tipo de detalles de lo que allí suceda.

Talk in INEDI

Tomorrow I will give a talk in INEDI ( European Institute of Fashion Desingn) from Bilbao, where I studied as a designer anf fashion stylist for four years.

It´s a closed door meeting where the students of the center can only attend, but which I will give you full details of what happens there.

Adelanto, que les hablaré un poco sobre mi experiencia en el mundo de la Moda, desde todos campos en los que yo he trabajado: Diseño, Televisión, Desfiles, Creación de marca...
